El-Khattat Arabic Calligraphy Pen, Blue, Size 3

An El-Khattat Arabic calligraphy pen, size 3 — a broad-edged nib made for Arabic script, where the flat edge gives the thick and thin strokes the letters need.

Hold the nib at one steady angle and the letter shapes come from the edge turning, not from pressure — the basis of Ruq'ah and Naskh hands. Size 3 is a medium width for everyday practice.
