Description

Stabilo Aquacolor Arty Watercolour Pencil Set, 12 Long — Full length, 12 colours.

STABILO Aquacolor pencils from the ARTY range draw dry like an ordinary coloured pencil, then dissolve into a wash the moment a wet brush touches them.

Use them dry for line and detail, then bring water in only where you want the colour to flow — and once a wash has dried you can go back over it with the dry pencil to sharpen an edge. Work on paper of around 200 gsm or heavier, or the sheet will cockle.

  • Draw dry, then blend with water for a watercolour finish
  • Go back with the dry pencil over a dried wash to re-sharpen detail
  • Use paper of about 200 gsm or heavier so it does not cockle
