Description
Correction fluid is white paint in a fast-drying solvent — the older technology that correction tape mostly replaced, but still the better answer in two cases: an irregular shape a tape cannot follow, and a surface a tape will not stick to. It flows into a correction rather than laying a strip over it.
The whole skill is thin coats. One thin pass dries in seconds and takes ink cleanly; one thick pass stays tacky, cracks as it dries, and shows a ridge through whatever you write on top. Let it dry fully before writing — a few seconds is enough for a thin coat and not enough for a thick one. Keep the cap sealed tight between uses, because the solvent evaporates and a half-used bottle thickens into something that clumps rather than flows.
This is a shake-and-squeeze pen: a metal ball inside mixes the fluid when you shake it, and a valve tip lets you meter it out by pressing on the paper, which gives far more control than a brush-in-bottle. The 9 ml barrel is a working quantity, and the pen format is the reason it does not dry up the way an open pot does.
- 9 ml white correction fluid
- For irregular shapes and surfaces tape will not stick to
- Thin coats only — dries in seconds, takes ink cleanly
