Description
A valve-action paint marker holds real opaque paint, not ink, and a spring valve in the tip meters it out. You press the nib down on scrap to open the valve and let the paint flow, then write — which is why it covers on dark, transparent and slick surfaces where an ordinary marker’s dye would simply vanish.
This is opaque blue in a 4.3 mm bullet tip — a broad line for labelling, marking stock, tagging surfaces and lettering on glass, metal, plastic, wood and stone. Shake it before use so the paint is mixed, prime the valve on scrap, and press gently rather than pumping, which floods the tip. Cap it firmly; paint marker left open dries into a plug that no amount of pressing will clear.
