Description
Faber-Castell Creative Studio Soft Pastel Set, 72 Half-Sticks from Faber-Castell — a broad 72-piece range of soft, chalk-based pastels (70 colours, with a double White and a double Black).
These acid-free soft pastels have a silky, smooth laydown with intense, opaque colour and good lightfastness. The half-length square sticks shade large areas on their side and pick out fine detail on the edge, and they blend readily with a finger, paper stump or pastel brush. They suit textured surfaces such as pastel paper, card and even wood; a light fixative is recommended once finished. Ideal for students and aspiring artists.
The 72-piece selection spans a full working palette — brights, earth tones, a run of greys and two fluorescents.
