Description
Correction fluid is white paint in a fast-drying solvent — the older technology that correction tape mostly replaced, but still the better answer in two cases: an irregular shape a tape cannot follow, and a surface a tape will not stick to. It flows into a correction rather than laying a strip over it.
The whole skill is thin coats. One thin pass dries in seconds and takes ink cleanly; one thick pass stays tacky, cracks as it dries, and shows a ridge through whatever you write on top. Let it dry fully before writing — a few seconds is enough for a thin coat and not enough for a thick one. Keep the cap sealed tight between uses, because the solvent evaporates and a half-used bottle thickens into something that clumps rather than flows.
A bottle-and-brush correction fluid — the classic format, with the brush built into the cap. It gives you a broad stroke for covering a larger mistake in one go, which a narrow pen tip cannot, at the cost of the control a valve tip gives. Wipe the brush on the neck before capping so it does not dry stiff.
