Faber-Castell Goldfaber 1221 Graphite Pencil, 4H

The Goldfaber 1221 is Faber-Castell's everyday graphite pencil for drawing, sketching and writing — the pencil most students start with, and the one most studios keep a box of.

4H is the hardest and faintest grade we stock — for architectural underdrawing and setting out, where the line should almost disappear once the finished work goes over it.

• Break-resistant lead, bonded along its full length by Faber-Castell's SV process
• Hexagonal barrel that will not roll off a sloped drawing board
• Made from FSC-certified wood from responsibly managed forests
