Imicreate Artist Charcoal Pencil Set, 3 Pieces, Soft Medium Hard

Imicreate Artist Charcoal Pencil Set, 3 Pieces, Soft Medium Hard.

Charcoal is the most direct drawing material there is — burnt wood, more or less, laying down a dense black that no pencil can reach.

It moves fast and forgives nothing precisely: you block in large tonal areas in seconds, blend with a finger or a stump, and lift highlights back out with a kneadable eraser. It also travels — charcoal will smudge across a drawing if your hand rests on it, so work top to bottom and fix the finished piece.

• Blocks in large tonal areas faster than any pencil
• Blend with finger or stump, lift highlights with a kneadable eraser
• Smudges easily — work top to bottom and fix when finished
